Royal Deeside & the Whisky Trail

Huntly Arms Hotel

Highlights: Braemar, Grantown-on-Spey, Dufftown, Glenfiddich Distillery, Pitlochry, Grampian Mountains, Crathie Church

Situated in the heart of Royal Deeside, the tranquil village of Aboyne lies a short drive from the royal estate of Balmoral, on the banks of the River Dee. This is a place of magnificent pine forests, purple moors and windy glens guarded by ancient castles, which once symbolised the strength of their clans and recall turbulent centuries of Scottish history. This is Scotland at its magical best.
