Holiday Itinerary

Saturday: From local joining points we cross the Channel and continue onwards to our overnight stop.

Sunday: We continue through Germany and into Austria to reach our hotel for five nights.

Monday: A full day excursion to Innsbruck, the capital of the Tyrol which retains a medieval charm amongst Baroque architecture and a soaring mountain backdrop.

Tuesday: A day at leisure to immerse yourself in your beautiful Alpine surroundings.

Wednesday: This morning we cross into Germany to visit the fairytale Neuschwanstein Castle, the beloved castle of King Ludwig. For the real picture-book view make your way up to the Marienbrucke (Mary’s Bridge) over the Pöllat Gorge. This afternoon we visit Füssen, set between the towering Alpine peaks and the shores of Lake Forggensee.

Thursday: A rewarding full day excursion, first to the traditional Austrian town of Landeck, at the gateway to the Paznaun Valley. We then take a circular journey of spectacular Alpine scenery along the Silvretta Pass and to the summit of the Fluchthorn Mountain, with cameras at the ready for stunning views at 3399 feet above sea level!

Friday: We depart from Austria today and travel north through Germany to our overnight stop.

Saturday: Crossing the Channel, we return home.

Hotel Zum Lamm, Tarrenz

The hotel is situated close to the town hall and near to the amenities of Tarrenz, located in the Gurgltal Valley and perfect for exploring the scenic Western Tyrol. The hotel has a restaurant, bar, sauna and steam room. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities and television.
