Jersey & Guernsey by Sea

Norfolk Lodge Hotel (DS), Pandora Hotel (DS)

Highlights: Overnight stay in Bournemouth, Choice of either Jersey or Guernsey

The Channel Islands are a totally unique part of the British Isles. Lying just off the French coast, they enjoy a marvellously continental flavour, yet there are reminders of home around almost every corner - the currency is the same as our own and there are no language problems! In 2020 our seven day holiday by sea to the Channel Islands includes five nights on either Jersey or Guernsey as well as an overnight stop in Bournemouth to be ready and refreshed for the morning crossing.

Choice of Islands

Jersey - Basking in the warm blue waters of the Gulf Stream just fifteen miles from the French Coast, Jersey is one of the sunniest spots in the British Isles. There are twenty miles of magnificent beaches lapped by clear waters, fertile farmlands and flower filled gardens, and an almost endless array of places to see and things to do. Visit the world-famous Jersey Wildlife and Preservation Trust, founded by Gerald Durrell, or the fascinating Hamptonne Country Life Museum and the Jersey War Tunnels are a chilling reminder of Jersey’s wartime occupation.

Guernsey - Second largest of the Channel Islands, Guernsey has an air of peace and quality unmatched by holiday rivals. The Island boasts miles of unspoilt sandy beaches, rocky coves, dramatic cliffs and abundant wildlife - and is packed with sightseeing possibilities. The capital, St Peter Port, features some duty free shopping and a busy harbour, while Castle Cornet which guards the town, houses a number of museums.
