Mersey Discovery

A Merseyside Discovery Trail tour, including the amazing Albert Dock complex, where you’ll find the Merseyside Maritime Museum and the Tate Liverpool. View the famous Three Graces, the trio of buildings facing the Mersey at Pier Head, topped by the Liver Building, built in the city’s Edwardian heyday. This afternoon we take a boat trip on the famous River Mersey (ticket included).

Singing City 

Accompanied by an expert Mersey guide, we take a Singing City Magical History Tour, following in the footsteps of the Beatles. You’ll see John Lennon’s birthplace, Paul McCartney’s school, their childhood homes (now in National Trust care), Penny Lane, and learn more about the background of Liverpool’s musical stars. We also include a visit to the Beatles Story which is full of their memorabilia, and complete our day at the new Strawberry Fields exhibition in the house made famous by the Beatle’s hit.

Fashionable Southport

An excursion to the nearby resort of Southport. Renowned for its parks and gardens, with a large seafront marine lake, magnificent pier and extensive golden sands, Southport has an elegant atmosphere, where leafy Lord Street is one of the country’s finest shopping boulevards.

Everglades Park Hotel, Widnes

Situated in a semi-rural location on the edge of Widnes, this is a conmvenient base for access to Liverpool and our sightseeing excursions. There is a bar and a restaurant, and all bedrooms include private facilities, television and tea & coffee making facilities.
