Books & Borders
We start today in the beautiful old town of Ludlow with a huge 11th century castle. Then it’s across the line of Offa’s Dyke, for a stop in the eccentric little town of Hay-on-Wye.
Valleys & Views
We follow the River Wye into the Forest of Dean, to admire the view at Symonds Yat with a great loop of the river far below. We spend some time in Monmouth before we return, passing Tintern Abbey.
Cathedral City
A morning visit to the cathedral city of Worcester, sitting pretty on the banks of the River Severn. Here there is time to explore the medieval streets, magnificent cathedral, or perhaps visit the fascinating Royal Worcester Porcelain Museum. This afternoon you can relax in the hotel or enjoy free time in Cheltenham.
