Excursions

Spectacular Snowdonia
A lovely full day excursion takes us into the heart of Snowdonia National Park. First we visit Betws-y-Coed, the famous mountain village renowned for its local crafts and spectacular waterfalls. We continue through Blaenau Ffestiniog to Porthmadog before returning via the slate mining town of Llanberis and an unforgettable drive over the breathtaking Llanberis Pass.

Shores of North Wales
An extended half day excursion today as we visit Conwy, one of the best preserved medieval fortified towns in Britain, before we follow the northern shoreline to the smaller resort of Colwyn Bay with its wide sandy beach and individual charm.

Coastal Forts and Ynys Mon
This morning we travel to Caernarfon, where King Charles III was invested as the Prince of Wales in the grounds of the impressive castle. Crossing the Menai Straits to ‘Ynys Mon’ (the Isle of Anglesey), we pause at Llanfair PG and visit the elegant town of Beaumaris, fronted by its superb moated castle.
