Excursions

Touring Snowdonia
A full day excursion into Snowdonia National Park where you are soon among the peaks and valleys of this much-loved region. We head to the popular tourist centre of Betws-y-Coed before ascending through the mountains towards Blaenau Ffestiniog and dropping towards the coast at Porthmadog. We complete the day through the spectacular Llanberis Pass on our return towards our hotel.

Roman Chester
A day to explore the historic cathedral city of Chester with its Roman origins and lovely halftimbered buildings, old red sandstone walls, and fine shops in the unique two-level galleried arcades known as the Rows, as well as the gently flowing waters of the River Dee, ideal for enjoying a cruise or a riverside walk. Just outside of Chester is Chester Zoo and for those that wish to visit at their leisure, rather than have time in the city, our driver will drop and collect you from the zoo.

River in the Sky
An excursion to pretty Llangollen, set on the banks of the River Dee and home to the famous Welsh Eisteddfod festival. From here we enjoy a ride on the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct – nicknamed the ‘River in the Sky’ – the longest and highest cast iron aqueduct in the world.
