Southport

The historic seaside town of Southport, which is close to Liverpool, offers wonderful beaches, a Victorian heritage, and leisure activities. Its brilliant beachfront, which is perfect for relaxed walks and breathing in the fresh sea air, has incredible views of the Irish Sea. Lord Street, the main road in the town, is a tree-lined boulevard featuring beautiful boutiques and cosy cafes.

Last Drop Village Hotel & Spa, Bolton

Sitting on the edge of the West Pennine Moors and boasting stunning views over Bolton, this unique hotel has a rich combination of history and modern convenience. Within the complex there is a tea shop, inn and eight independent shops as well as a hotel restaurant and bar and spa facilities, including an indoor pool, sauna, steam room and gym. Bedrooms are in either the main building, courtyard mews or former farmer cottages. Each features en-suite facilities, television, hairdryer and tea & coffee making facilities.  There is not a lift, but ground floor bedrooms available.
